Name: Bevelyn Lowell

History: Born in Gilneas shortly after the wall was constructed. She was home schooled by her mother who was also a mage that had originally trained in Dalaran but returned to Gilneas when she fell in love with Bev's father. Bevelyn grew up in tempest's Reach, where she married a local landowner named Gerald Corwin. Just after their wedding Gilneas suffered from a series of Earthquakes that exposed their harbor to Undead attack. The Worgen threat was also on the rise, so she and her husband left their home in Tempest's Reach and traveled to Gilneas City. Later, the city was overrun by Worgen. Gerard was bitten and turned into a feral animal, but Bevelyn managed to escape unscathed with other survivors. She almost made it into the clear when the carriage she was fleeing in came under attack from a feral worgen pack led by her husband.

She spent several months roaming the Gilnean countryside as a wild animal until she and the rest of her pack were captured by Worgen hunters looking for creatures to experiment with the cure upon. Bevelyn was luckily one of the many that the the partial cure worked upon. From there, she and other survivors fled from Gilneas with the help of Night Elves who took the Gilneans to Teldrassil to help them cope with the Worgen Curse. Bevelyn stayed there only long enough to learn how to control her forms before she set off to other places. She first ventured to Stormwind, looking for a new life away from the bloody one she left behind.

Eventually, her travels led her to Dalaran where she continued training with the mages there in the hopes that the Kirin Tor would help her to further improve her skills. Eventually, her husband tracked her down, eager to find his wife and to try and build a future with her once more. However, Bevelyn had some deeply ingrained resentment towards him feeling that it was his fault that she was now one of the 'afflicted." They annulled the marriage at her behest, but Gerald wouldn't leave her alone. He desired to win back his 'mate' no matter the cost.

Feeling that it was in her best interest, Bevelyn left Dalaran and again set out, this time venturing to distant lands. She traveled Pandaria learning about peace and harmony and to accept the person she was instead of longing for the person she once was. Her stay in Pandaria was all too brief however as word reached her of the Dark Portal opening once more. Feeling a need to help protect Azeroth from An oncoming invasion, she returned to Stormwind and readied herself to venture to an entirely new world.

personality

Strengths:
Magic- Bevelyn is skilled in using fire and frost magic, feeling they are different sides to the same coin. She favors freezing things slightly more than burning. She can also blink forwards short distances, or teleport herself and others to places that she has been to at least once before. She also has the ability to polymorph people into a sheep for a few minutes at a time and can conjure magical food and water (The food is not filling or very sustaining but will help keep people's mind off real hunger).

Tinkering- Although she isn't exceptionally skilled at it, Bevelyn dabbles in Engineering and enjoys the complexity of machines almost as much as she loves studying magic. She likes to tinker with goggles and by making small clockwork creatures like life-like toads or mechanical squirrels.

Jewelcrafting / Jeweler- As well as tinkering, Bevelyn is also decent in jewel crafting. It is an art she picked up in Dalaran to help fund her education while she was studying there. She learned how to craft jewelry and to cut gems.

Heightened senses- Even when in human form she has heightened senses. Her sense of smell and hearing is exceptionally keen. She also can see exceptionally well in the dark with excellent night vision. As a Worgen, her senses are almost double as that of a human.

Well, Educated- Bevelyn is very well learned. She knows how to read and write in Common and Dwarven and Darnassian and can speak passably well in Draenei. She also understands arcane and magical runes and can write in them or use them to inscribe her jewelry to give it magical enchantments (bonuses to stats minor magical effects).

Adventurous- Even as a child, Bevelyn has always been adventurous, eager to explore the next hill or the distant horizon. Since leaving Gilneas, this desire has increased tenfold. Nothing is more exciting than discovering something new or learning about some hidden knowledge.

Flaws:
Worgen- While she isn't bound to transform under the light of a full moon and can no longer transfer the curse to others thanks to the partial cure, Bevelyn is still a Worgen. High-stress situations will cause her to wolf out. She becomes physically stronger and gains about a foot and a half in height. Her voice drops down to be rough and gravelly, and she takes on the blended appearance of a wolf and a human with a dark gray pelt. Her fur is coarse with an undercoat and best suited for a life outdoors.

Deep Emotions- Bevelyn keeps her emotions buried down deep, bottling up negative emotions until she is ready to explode both literally and figuratively. Her time in Pandaria has helped her to come to terms with most of her deep-seated resentments, but she has not yet mastered control of her emotions.

Sensory overload- Due to having heightened senses, it is possible for Beverly to go into sensory overload. Too much of anything can trigger a panic attack which will cause her to transform into her Worgen form. Too much noise, an over powering scent of blood/carnage and light sensitivity.

Miscellaneous: Bevelyn is a do-gooder. She will go out of her way to help others. While she hates inflicting harm or killing anyone, she will do such if she has no choice. Though, she much rather polymorph someone into a sheep until cooler heads prevail. She is also a bookworm and has a penchant for learning anything ad everything she can get her hands on. Her father was a tinkerer back in Gilneas and imparted that skill to his daughter. She even had a pair of his old goggles that she uses when she is tinkering.

She is very analytical and logical rather than emotional and strives for a constant state of control over her mental and emotional state. Very rarely will she let her emotions show, preferring to lock them away behind either a blank face or a positive demeanor. It is rare for her to smile, but when she does, it is brightly and full of warmth. Her magic reflects this, with her stronger affinity for cold type spells. Usually, the angrier she is, the colder she and the area around her will get until a thin veneer of ice begins to form on objects in close proximity to her (the hem of her dress, the floor she is standing on, the chair she is sitting in, etc). Alternatively as a Worgen it is the opposite. The angrier she gets while being furry the warmer it gets around her until her hands burst into flames (luckily her fur doesn't catch fire). When she is feeling exceptionally passionate (not angry) or aroused, her magic will fluctuate slightly between hot and cold, though her fire magic usually wins out. Magic used during sex will often not hurt someone.

Although Bevelyn has always been on the reserved side due to growing up Gilnean, her emotions have always run very deep and very intense. It is in part why she has such good control over her transformation. However, she can be triggered in high stress/ intense situations. Smelling blood, tense situations, combat, passionate arguments and even sex can cause a transformation. The change is quick but very painful. Transforming back and forth will often cause her to become ravenously hungry as well.

Goals: Exploration! Adventuring out into the world and learning more about it and the secrets it holds. Helping the Empress to win the war. Building CR and good memories with everyone. Basically trying to use the game to it's fullest potential.
